2013 - Dublin
The 2013 global conference “Converging Practice – Celtic Style” was hosted in Dublin by our Irish Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association (IARNA) colleagues. Over 400 perianaesthesia nurses representing over 20 countries gathered to network, share educational information and research, and discuss clinical issues unique to this nursing specialty. Momentum for the establishment of an enduring global collaborative continued to grow; therefore, a Steering Committee was established at the conclusion of this conference and tasked to work toward the goal of incorporating an enduring global collaborative.
